HGV class 1 driver jobs in Lincolnshire

Articulated work belongs to the freight transport by road industry. The 2024 Business Register and Employment Survey counted 6,000 employee jobs in it across Lincolnshire, 2.01% of the 298,000 employee jobs the survey records in the area.

UK Business Counts recorded 1,025 freight transport by road workplaces in Lincolnshire at the March 2025 reference date, 95 of them employing ten people or more. 930 of them, 90.7%, employ under ten, which is the ordinary shape of haulage.

Of the freight transport by road employee jobs the 2024 survey splits by hours in Lincolnshire, 1,000 are part time, 18.2% of the split. The middle across the East Midlands is 20.3%, so Lincolnshire sits below it, 7th of 10 areas on this measure. A part-time share that size usually reflects weekend trunking and relief cover counted alongside the permanent fleet.

Across the 153 areas in England the middle is 900. Next to Lincolnshire in that order sit Leicestershire at 4,500.

On the separate business register count of freight transport by road workplaces, Lincolnshire ranks 1st of the 10 areas in the East Midlands. The middle across the East Midlands is 598, against 1,025 in Lincolnshire. Across the 153 areas in England the middle is 200. Next to Lincolnshire in that order sit West Northamptonshire at 770.

None of this counts adverts. It counts 6,000 jobs and 1,025 workplaces that already exist in Lincolnshire, which is a different thing from what is open to apply for today.
